End-to-End Marketing Strategy for NXE’s Marketplace Launch

This project was created to position NXE as a trusted new e-commerce platform in the UAE, Sri Lanka, and India. My role was to design the full go-to-market plan, from audience research and brand messaging to content, multi-channel campaigns, and analytics.

Project Overview

NXE is a new e-commerce marketplace designed to connect vendors from the UAE, Sri Lanka, and India with local buyers. My role was to design a complete end-to-end digital marketing strategy for the marketplace launch.

The project demonstrates my ability to research markets, create positioning, plan content, and design a multi-channel roadmap that could guide NXE’s launch.

Researched competitor marketplaces, identified target vendor and buyer personas, and mapped key opportunities for positioning NXE.

What I Did

1. Research & Insights

I started by analyzing the e-commerce landscape in the UAE, Sri Lanka, and India.

  • Reviewed competitor marketplaces and their positioning.
  • Defined vendor and buyer personas to understand needs and pain points.
  • Highlighted opportunities like lower commission rates, faster delivery, and local focus.

2. Brand Positioning & Messaging

I built the foundation for how NXE should be seen in the market.

  • Crafted core messaging around “Local Marketplace, Global Reach.”
  • Designed website flow for both vendors (easy onboarding) and buyers (trust + variety).
  • Outlined content themes: vendor success stories, buyer trust-building, and product variety.

3. Channel Strategy & Campaign Roadmap

I created a complete go-to-market plan with a balanced mix of organic and paid channels.

  • SEO: Researched high-intent keywords for product categories and vendor resources.
  • PPC: Planned Google Ads campaigns to capture buyer intent.
  • Social Media: Developed launch campaigns for Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
  • Email Journeys: Designed onboarding sequences for vendors and welcome flows for buyers.
  • Influencer Outreach: Recommended micro-influencer collaborations to build early credibility.

4. Measurement & Tracking Framework

I ensured the strategy included clear ways to measure success.

  • Defined KPIs for vendor sign-ups, product uploads, and buyer purchases.
  • Built a GA4 event tracking plan for marketplace interactions.
  • Outlined dashboards for ongoing monitoring and campaign optimization.
